Most of our work happens within a 30-minute drive of Redwood City — Atherton, Woodside, Palo Alto, Menlo Park, and the rest of the Peninsula. We take on a small number of larger projects further afield each year.
One of our home-base markets. Most projects here are larger residential rebuilds — full-yard redesigns, hardscape installs, and custom outdoor living spaces.
Hillside lots make grading, drainage, and retaining walls the usual starting point. We rebuild backyards from the slope up — terraces, retaining walls, drainage systems, then planting and hardscape on top.
Estate properties get full-scope treatment — master plans, design development, in-house construction, and ongoing maintenance contracts. We coordinate permitting and design review and usually maintain the property after install.
Family backyards and mature gardens — turf lawns, kid-safe play hardscape, outdoor kitchens, pergola dining areas. We balance new builds with care for existing mature trees and plantings.
Hill properties with steep grades and long driveways. Most work here involves heavy-equipment grading, custom retaining walls, paver driveways, and fire-resistant planting design under California fire code.
Mid-century homes with mature yards. We do landscape rebuilds tied to home renovations — hardscape, drought-tolerant planting, irrigation upgrades, and outdoor lighting plans timed to the construction schedule.
Residential rebuilds and small commercial landscape work. Tight lots, established neighborhoods, strict permitting — we manage city design review and HOA approval as part of the build.
Our home base. Mid-size residential rebuilds, paver driveways, retaining walls, and outdoor living spaces are the bread and butter. We're 15 minutes from most local job sites.
Acreage properties with longer driveways, equestrian access, and large hardscape budgets. Most Woodside projects involve master plans phased over several seasons — entrance work, drainage, then back-of-property hardscape and outdoor living.
