  • New plants and sod: For the first 1–2 weeks water daily. Then reduce to every other day for weeks 2–4 and transition to the established schedule. Sod needs frequent shallow watering initially, then deeper, less frequent runs.
  • Artificial turf: No routine irrigation for plant health. Rinse as needed for dust or pet messes rather than on a repeating schedule.
